Newburyport Dental Associates is a new name for a well established practice.  Dr. Gerald Hirsch began the practice at 325 High Street in 1978.  He continued performing dentistry there until the practice outgrew the location and in 1998 moved the practice to 37 ½ Forrester Street.  In 2002 Dr. Anne-Marie Clancy began practicing with Dr. Hirsch and in 2007 they partnered to form Newburyport Dental Associates.
